If you haven't heard of Wrap With Love, it is an organisation begun with the thought of one person, Sonia Gidley-King, in 1992 while watching the television news reporting the civil war in Mozambique, and decided she could make a difference.
She started by knitting squares to be made into wraps to distribute to people in need.
Since the inception of the idea, 221,000+ wraps have been distributed around the world to countries including Australia.
Sonia Gidley-King died peacefully on 17 July, 2010, after a long illness.

P.S. I've started knitting my first square.
